Bandai Entertainment has announced that they will be re-releasing Mamoru Oshii’s Ghost in the Shell: Innocence on DVD and Blu-Ray Disc with an English dub.
Dreamworks, who aims to produce a live action version of Ghost In The Shell, originally released Ghost In The Shell: Innocence in North American theaters and on DVD, however, there was only English subtitles and no dubbing present.
According to Bandai, Innocence’s dub will be produced by the same studio which dubbed the television movie, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex: Solid State Society.

It is not only UK anime fans who have a right to rejoice, it would appear that Right Stuf (based in the USA) is currently holding a pretty awesome sale of ADV DVDs. The sale ends February 6th, so you will need to be quick if you want anything before stocks run out.
There are two deals on offer:
- 10 ADV DVDs for $50 (use coupon: ADVsuper10)
- 25 ADV DVDs for $100 (use coupon: ADVsuper25)

Due to ’streamlining’ of operations, ADV UK is having a massive stock clearance.
The sale will run from January 21st until January 28th, and there are close to 40 titles on offer, most of which seem to be going for about £1 ($2) or £2 ($4) per DVD! Titles include: Azumanga Daioh, Full Metal Panic, Noir, RahXephon Samurai X, and loads more.
There seems to be some problems with the store atm (some of the pages are giving 404 errors), but hopefully it will all be functioning properly shortly (that is, if they haven’t sold out already :S).

According to ANN, Media Blasters has placed the DVD releases of GaoGaiGar temporarily on hold for an unspecificed amount of time once the 5th volume of the series is released.
As reported by Anime on DVD, some beliveved the announcement of a hiatus by Media Blasters to be due to a lack of sales, however, they have debunked that by announcing that the true reason for Media Blasters hiatus of GaoGaiGar is actually due to the companies shifting of focus towards releasing Voltron.
Media Blasters will be announcing the release dates for the final five volumes of GaoGaiGar at some point in the future.

“I thought that when I entered high school, my days of believing in aliens, time travelers and ESPers were over. That is, until she introduced herself. Claiming to be interested in only aliens, time travelers, and ESPers, Haruhi Suzumiya was the strangest girl I’d met in a long time…”
Right Stuff International have just announced that the first volume of the US version of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is available for pre-order. The DVD is packed with special features, and the special edition version also includes the Hare Hare Yukai sound track and some other goodies. Product links are below:
