Hulu and Joost to stream more legal anime
The popular streaming video services Joost and Hulu have announced that they will be adding a number of new anime shows to their libraries. There will be a mixture of both subbed and dubbed shows, and a full list of shows that have just been made available, or will be available in the near future, is as follows:
Joost (available now):
Naruto (subbed)
Death Note (subbed)
Joost (coming soon):
Bleach
Hulu (available now):
Naruto (subbed)
Death Note (subbed)
Mushi-Shi (dubbed)
Hulu (coming soon):
Bleach
Basilisk
Black
Blood
Brothers
Kiddy Grade
MoonPhase
Peach Girl
School Rumble
Unfortunately both of these services have regional restrictions, so if you are outside the US there is no guarantee that everything (or anything) in the above list will be available.

Joost has been my favorite due to the fact that it uses WMV and lowers the processor strain. Though the service has become rather gimped recently.
Hulu is actually quite nice and offers a decent service. If only 5 million commercials didn’t appear all over the place.
Joost seems pretty decent, however when I tried it last summer I would often get cutoff half way through watching something. Hulu isn’t available in the UK unfortunately :(, guess I could try using a proxy, but I can’t imagine they would work very well when streaming high quality video. BBC iPlayer (UK only service) kicks ass, but since it is only stuff which appears on the BBC’s channels there isn’t going to be any anime.
