Baccano! licensed by FUNimation

Baccano!, arguably the best anime series of last year, has been licensed by FUNimation today. Whilst ADV is dying off, FUNimation seems to be thriving.

For the last week members of the AnimeOnDVD forums have been talking about the possibility of the series being licensed by FUNimation, and these rumors were confirmed today with the launch of the official FUNimation website for the series which can be found at:

Currently the website is streaming the first episode of the series, and the password to access it is ‘Flying Pussyfoot’.  The episode is subbed, so we will need to wait to see what kind of a job they do with the voice acting.

If you haven’t checked out Baccano! then now would be a great opportunity! Don’t worry if the first episode seems a little weird, continue watching and hopefully you will see that it’s a really great series.
