Yuko Ogura named Japan’s top gravure idol

Japanese idol Yuko Ogura has been awarded the ‘1st Japan Gravure Idol Award’. The contest was run by the website ZAKZAK, which is owned by Japanese newspaper Sankei. Amongst the factors used to select Yuko as the winner were sales figures for her DVDs and photobooks, as well as the number of votes she received online. Yuko certainly gets our vote!

Here is what Yukorin had to say about the win herself:

I really appreciate my fans who support me all the time. When I started bikini modeling eight years ago, everybody thought models should have big breasts. But it’s different now. Diversified girls with different characters and shapes can succeed in modeling.
