Evangelion News

The major bit of news this week relating to the hugely popular Evangelion series is that director Hideaki Anno has announced a cinema release date for first part of the upcoming Rebuild of Evangelion, the date being September 1st, 2007.

Rebuild of Evangelion will comprise four individual films, with the latter three parts all being released in 2008.

Details of the plot are still scarce, but what we do know is that the end of the first film coincides with Operation Yashima, which takes place during episode 6 of the anime series.
