Take Dragon Ball, Naruto, Yu Yu Hakusho, and a little custom thought, throw it in a blender, put it in a printing press, and you get 666 Satan.
Indeed, reading this manga was like reading those 3 animes all over again. As a matter of fact, the author, Seishi Kishimoto has been criticized for this thousands of times over. But to kick a man down, I am not here to do. As a matter of fact, I am here to do quite the oposite.
First things first, if the name Seishi Kishimoto strikes any glaring resemblance to another author, then you would be correct. He is indeed the younger brother of Masashi Kishimoto, author of Naruto.
666 Satan bares an extreme resemblance to Naruto, both in art style, ideas, and plot. Perhaps we can attribute this to the fact that the brothers are twins. Twins tend to think alot alike. However, I’m not a psychologist, nor am I here to analyze genetic traits so to the point.
666 Satan follows the story of a boy named Jio Freed and a young girl named Ruby Crescent. Ruby meets Jio on her quest for legendary O-Parts only to discover that Jio Freed himself is an O.P.T.

“I thought that when I entered high school, my days of believing in aliens, time travelers and ESPers were over. That is, until she introduced herself. Claiming to be interested in only aliens, time travelers, and ESPers, Haruhi Suzumiya was the strangest girl I’d met in a long time…”

As you probably know, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya was recently licensed and work is currently underway on the English dubbed version.
A new video has just surfaced on YouTube which shows a preview of the English version, generally the voices seem pretty decent.
Legitimacy of video: After first seeing the video I was unsure if it was real, or just a good attempt by some fans, and so did a little digging around.
The first thing I did was to go to the official Haruhi site, located at http://asosbrigade.com/; there was nothing there, however there was a link to the site http://www.goanimetv.com which I decided to check out. Contained on AnimeTV was a video discussion of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya where the exact same clips were featured!

A lot of us have been waiting a long time for this, after 85 filler episodes the Naruto series finally rejoins the manga arc in the form of “Naruto: Shippūden”.
Naruto: Shippūden is set two and a half years ahead of the old series and will initially revolve around the search for Sasuke and the movements of the Akatsuki.
Unfortunately Kakashi Gaiden -a short arc covering Kakashi’s early years- has been totally skipped; if you have not already done so, you can find Kakashi Gaiden in manga chapters 239-244.
Included below are some screenshots from the cinematic introduction -a teaser for what is to come a bit later- to the first episode:

If you would like to watch Naruto: Shippuuden 001-002, you can get the torrent for Dattebayo’s fansub here.

Kelly McBride, a commentator for National Public Radio, believes that the Nintendo Wii gives kids a bit of a false sense of accomplishment and what its like to compete in the real world.
According to Kelly McBride, “Children who spend too much time playing virtual sports on their new Nintendo Wii are getting a false sense of what it’s like to compete in the world. That’s the view of one mother who is watching her children ‘excel’ at video sports.”

BBC News is reporting that bionic eye implants, which will help restore sight to the blind, could be widely available within as little as two years from now.
The device, known as the Argus II, works by implanting an array of electrodes into the back of the eye in combination with a spectacle-mounted camera. Visual data from the camera is passed wirelessly to a receiver just under the skin, which then forwards this to the electrode array.

In terms of image resolution the device is still quite primitive, it is however a huge help -e.g. avoiding objects- for people who could previously see nothing at all. The current device has 60 electrodes, we can expect this figure to increase substantially over the next several years though.
Trials for the device will be taking place this year with around 50-75 subjects. If all goes well, the device should be released shortly after for a sum of around $30,000.
